Refund Policy

Every purchase should feel fair. Here is exactly when a refund applies — and how to ask for one — alongside your statutory consumer rights.

01Our promise

We want you to feel good about every purchase. This policy explains when you can get a refund from Kwacha Kulture B.V.. It sits alongside — and never overrides — your statutory rights as a consumer.

02Digital content & your right of withdrawal

Our products are digital and delivered instantly. Under EU consumer law you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal — but for digital content supplied immediately, that right ends once delivery begins with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you thereby lose it. At checkout you will be asked to give that consent so you can start reading right away.

If you would rather keep your withdrawal right, simply do not consent to immediate delivery; access will begin after the withdrawal period.

03One-time purchases (individual works)

If a work fails to deliver, is corrupted, is materially not as described, or you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will make it right — a fix, a replacement, or a full refund.

Because a book can be read in full very quickly, we do not generally refund a completed work simply because you finished it or changed your mind after reading, except where the law requires it.

04Subscriptions

You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the current period. We do not usually refund a period already started, but if you were charged after cancelling, or a renewal was clearly unintended, tell us and we will refund it.

05How to request a refund

Email hello@kwachakulture.com from the address on your account with your order number and a short note on what went wrong. We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method; the time to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

06Chargebacks

If something is wrong, please reach out first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your account access being paused while the dispute is reviewed.
