Spiritual Warfare Part 2 – Righteousness

Remember, we are on the offensive here. We are not on the defensive. We discussed how that righteousness is our nature in earlier articles; we also discussed how that all spiritual beings exude a influence naturally and the more intensely they manifest, the more evidence their influence is experienced in any physical place; we also discussed how that righteousness exudes a series of influences such as grace, faith, love, etc., which means we exude a natural influence that can directly alter reality by virtue of our nature of righteousness.

Let’s take a quick sense check before we get started: when two forces collide, the one that wins is the force with the greatest magnitude or strength, right? Think of it this way: when you’re arm-wrestling against someone who’s weaker than you, naturally you who has the greatest strength will overpower the weaker one, right? Same thing if you arm-wrestled against someone who is much bigger and stronger than you—you will not emerge victorious. Same with scents, aromas, and smells—the aroma with the greatest potency is the one that you will smell the most above all others, right? If you wore a very strong cologne or perfume and someone wore a much weaker one, your scent will be perceived first and be more pronounced than the weaker scent. This is how influences work.

So, when two spiritual entities collide, the one that always emerges victorious is the one with the greatest magnitude and yes, that includes you. Satan knows he can’t defeat you; his influence or power isn’t anywhere near on par with yours even in the slightest so he knows even if he tried to come against you, he would never win because you are of much greater magnitude than he could ever hope to be. So, his strategy then becomes to deceive you and keep you in the dark so that way you go down a path of self-destruction. If you do not plant anything into your world, weed grow so he keeps you in the dark, so you don’t plant out of ignorance. He brings the wrong doctrines to you so that you act on misinformation and trap yourself in a state of constant lack, need, or ignorance and that subsequently results in your demise.

This isn’t how God wants you to be. He wants you to be master over all reality just like Jesus. He wants you to always reign—commanding every spiritual entity to bend to your whim. God won’t do it for you, don’t be fooled by it. When you pray or ask God for help, he never does anything because he already did everything by sending Jesus. And just because your prayers got answered doesn’t mean God did something—no! You just received what He already gave even though you might not immediately know how you did it so you attribute it to an answered prayer from God. But that’s not what God wants. He wants you to know exactly what’s going on at all times and do things consciously and deliberately.

In today’s article, we discuss this attribute of your spiritual armor—your righteousness which is termed as the breastplate of righteousness.

Hello and welcome, my fellow Gods, to another epic discussion wherein which we discuss the second portion of the armor of God. Let’s dive right in.

THE SPIRITUAL INFLUENCE OF CHRISTIANS

You as a spiritual being have an influence on everything around you and for Christians, that influence is called righteousness. When you wear a strong cologne and rub off against someone who does not have potent cologne, you leave that person smelling of hints of your cologne because you left that influence on that person.

It’s exactly the same in the spiritual—when you exude more and more of your spiritual nature and come into contact with anything, your influence rubs off onto that thing thus leaving it with your influence. So, the question then becomes what influence do you deliberately effect your world with? You are supposed to be exuding grace which is a direct attribute of your nature of righteousness. So, then how much grace have you charged up in your life to be able to effect your world with?

We discussed how that grace brings joy, correct? So, then how frequently do you exercise joy? Cause Satan will attempt to strike you with sadness in order to quench your influence of joy, so then the question is do you allow it? Maybe you’re thinking that you sometimes don’t feel like laughing or smiling or being happy and so it’s normal and expected to not always be happy. Let’s look at scripture,

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh…”—Psalms 2:1-4

So, are you sitting in the heavens? I am, I don’t know about you thus, whenever anything happens, my first response isn’t fearit’s laughter.

We discussed how that grace brings liberality, which is your willingness and tendency to release gifts, correct? So, then how frequently do you exercise liberality? Cause Satan will attempt to strike you with thoughts of not having anything to release as gifts to your world thereby quenching your grace, so then the question is do you allow it?

Finally, and most importantly, we discussed how that we shape our world with words and those words are a re-echoing of what God already said to us. So, then how frequently do you take the time to shape your world and future with your words? How frequently do you sit down to verbally and vocally speak out what you want your world to be and what it should be? Because Satan will attempt to keep you from finding out what words to use by keeping you in ignorance thereby causing you to speak wrongly or not speak anything at all which results in weeds growing in your life. So then question is do you allow it?

Think long and hard about whether or not you do practice this kind of life: if your life is like a farm as we discussed in our previous articles, how often do you deliberately plough the ground and sow seed? If your life is like a building as discussed in previous articles, how often do you deliberately and carefully build your world? How much attention do you put on your world?

Righteousness is your nature—that’s your influence—the influence you exude as a Christian and this influence is the most potent influence in reality because it is reality itself as discussed in our previous article so then the question is how frequently do you deliberately exude this influence of righteousness?

Many of you might be wondering what this means—to exude righteousness. If so, consider it this way: righteousness is an influence that is made up of everything we’ve ever talked about on this platform: zoe is an attribute of righteousness; faith is an attribute of righteousness; grace is an attribute of righteousness; love is an attribute of righteousness; Dunamis, Exousia, Ischus and Kratos are attributes of righteousness; Sophia, Sunesis, and Phronesis are attributes of righteousness; Epignosis is an attribute of righteousness—everything that we have ever discussed so far is an attribute of righteousness which means these are things you have right now as a Christian and you should be exuding them (meaning deliberately expelling them out from inside of you naturally). The reason you might not be aware of some of them is because you are not deliberately doing so.

Questioning whether or not you have Phronesis means you have not been meditating on the word of God enough—we spoke about the law of deep and lasting impressions, thus, the more you meditate on the word of God, the more you become what it talks about. So, if you meditate on the word enough, you will think what the word tells you to think and say the things the word tells you to say and act the way the word tells you to act and that by itself is Phronesis.

Questioning whether or not you have faith means you have not been practicing and exercising your faith—we spoke about this countless times in the law of faith, you have to use your faith no matter how little. We spoke about how to use faith too in multiple articles such as the seed faith principle.

Doing each of these things is what is referred to as acting your nature—living according to your nature of righteousness as a God.

In conclusion, each of these aspects of righteousness are your influence. Never forget this: all influences (forces, feelings, smells etc.,) in reality, are the direct consequence of spirits manifesting in part or in whole. When the wind blows around you means the angels in charge of the winds of the world are exuding their influence on this world as their job entails. When the sun rises on the earth means the angels in charge of the sun’s cycle are exuding their influence on this world as their job entails. When you start to feel sad means you are exuding less of your joy around you and your world. When you start to feel depression means a demon is manifesting around you and the more intense the depression means the more the demon has manifested around you. Same thing with scents/smells. Same thing with forces. Same thing with feelings. Never forget!

You are a spirit first. Just because you are living within a human body does not and should not mean that this is all that you are. You are a spirit first so exude your influence on your world just as Jesus did to make himself a master of reality. He knew he was reality itself, so he acted like it and bent reality to his whim. Some dude comes up to him with no eyes asking to be healed? JC spits on the ground, makes some clay, and forms eyes for this man on the spot like a legend. That’s how you control reality. You finish praying and find that the dudes you came with have left you on an island and you don’t have a boat? No sweat, JC just hardened the water beneath his feet and walked on it cause like… he controls reality at will so no stress, right? Easy-peasy. Simple God-stuff, no biggie. Oh, some random guys nail you to a cross, stab your belly, rapture your heart and kill you? No worries whatsoever, just make a quick stop in hell to paralyze Satan, rescue all the saints of the Old Testament, repossess the keys of hell and death from Satan, and come back from the dead once done. No big deal. Typical everyday God-type stuff. Nothing to fret about. Oh, your disciples are waiting for you in a closed room and all doors and windows are closed shut such that you can’t get in or out? Just walk through the walls, maybe teleport a little bit, and casually levitate out of their sight… nothing big, just God-type stuff. That’s how to be a God. That’s how to be an influence.

It’s important to note also that this influence is only exuded by God and Gods only. Angels exude a fraction of individual influences only. Angels assigned to the wind can only exude a portion of that wind. Angels assigned to fire can only exude a portion of that wind. You as a Christian have the ability to exude each of these influences in totally because you are the source and creator itself of these influences. So, where would Satan begin to challenge you from? How can normal, puny, mortal men even come close to challenging you? Where should you even begin to fail from if you exude each of these influences? Just levitate a little bit, casually teleport just cause, and be God over all reality. Simple stuff for Gods like you and I. This is your nature and this knowledge of your influence of righteousness is your breastplate in this war we are engaged in. This is your breastplate of righteousness.

HOW TO USE THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN WAR

Have this at the back of your mind: we didn’t start this war. We just showed up on the scene and Satan and his kingdom launched an attack on us himself. We didn’t start this war. He started it. But we’re going to end it. He doesn’t stand a chance no matter what he did or could do.

The first question that should come to mind is what the purpose of this war is and why we are engaged in it?

“…And I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it…”—Matthew 16:18

These were the words of Jesus himself. He prophesied that how that He would establish the church (his body) and that in this building of the church, the kingdom of darkness shall not prevail against it. So, what does this really mean? Jesus is saying that He intended to build the church—his body atop which he would be the head and form God, the Son with—and that this body would expand. But in its expansion, the forces of the kingdom of hell would try to stop this expansion at all costs but they would not prevail in their attempts to stop it. What does this mean? That we are not on the defensive here. Satan and his kingdom are trying to come at us with everything they can and everything they have because we are expanding—we are growing and consuming more and more of reality. We are the ones invading and the kingdom of hell is shrinking. So, Satan has waged war against us because of it. But Jesus says Satan’s kingdom will not win against us.

Second question that should come to mind is what your battle armor should look like. What weapons do you have? We already looked at how you have truth as your armor that protect your loins. What does this mean? Let me ask you a direct question: where do the scriptures imply the source of all your blessings emanate from in your spiritual body? Short answer is,

“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”—John 7:38

He is saying the source of where rivers of living water shall flow out from is what truth guards and protects. That’s why its important what you hear and how you hear. Because you can only speak things that are in your heart—you can only bring out the things that are within your belly. So, if you are not filled with the right words, you cannot exude rivers of living water because you speak the wrong things. That’s why it’s important to mount guard over your heart,

“Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.”—Proverbs 4:23

And you do so with truth. In our previous article, we discussed how truth comes about, how it is used, and its importance.

With all this said, we can finally describe how to use this breastplate of righteousness. Having all this in mind, how do we use the breastplate of righteousness? By exuding our righteousness more intensely to everything and everyone around us.

This is why Christians pray—because through prayer, we directly channel attributes of our righteousness to exactly the areas in our lives we want it to affect. So, if we wish to change a specific situation, we pray so that our influence of righteousness rubs off on that situation and the naturally consequence would be that the situation would have no option other than to bend to your whim. I cannot stress this enough that we are not on the defensive; the armor we have isn’t battle armor designed for those who need divine protection from anything or anyone. We have our battle armor to overwhelm the enemy completely. So, righteousness isn’t for our protection against anything or anyone, rather it is for the purpose of casting our divine influence over and above everything in reality.

Recall how in articles prior, we made mention how that Satan being the god of this world to mean that the current systems of this world were set up by Satan. And recall also how in one of our recent articles we mentioned how that all creation is in pain waiting for the mature sons of God to manifest? This is the reason. Even though Satan set up the systems of this world, our job as Christians is to overwhelm the systems of this world and save all creation from the dictates of this world. When you cast your influence over anything in reality, you effectively take over that thing from Satan’s domain to the domain of the kingdom of God. Everything—from people, animals, plants, situations, circumstances—everything is being retaken from Satan for the purpose of expanding our heavenly kingdom. And we do that by exuding our righteousness over and above everything. That is the use of the breastplate of righteousness. That is how you use it in this war. Not as a defense, but as an offense—just like truth—and just like the next portion of your divine armor i.e., the preparation of the gospel of peace around your feet.

CONCLUSION

Everything we have discussed in this article is what constitutes the part of your battle armor called “the Breastplate of Righteousness”. You are aware of your influence and how to exude it consciously and deliberately along with all its attributes.

If I am to conclude this article then let it be on this note: warfare is an ongoing thing in the spiritual realm. Because of Satan’s nature, he wishes to doom every man to the same fate as him, being hell and thus, whether you are conscious of it or not; whether you acknowledge it or not; whether you believe it or not, these devils of darkness are consciously trying to sway you into doing things that benefit them constantly and that always leads to keeping you at a lower level of life; keeping you in sin; and keeping you away from the truth so that you remain their captive. Don’t fool yourself to think that just because you don’t bother them then they’ll simply leave you alone; these things are called demons and devils for a reason; they have no conscious and will torment and destroy you whether you do something or not. The only way to fight and win against their dictates is to equip yourself and that can only be done by being Christian.

These are not things that the natural man can have, only Christians have it because being Christian gives you the nature and influence of righteousness; just like God, Himself. If you are not Christian then this cannot apply to you no matter what you try. And this is not me saying this, Jesus Himself says it,

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”—John 14:6

There is no other way to have this except by becoming Christians. Christianity is not just a religion. Read everything we’ve taken a look at from our very first article series on Who and What a Christian Really is for yourself to know what a Christian is. If you are here and haven’t given your life to God (and therefore aren’t Christian) then I offer you the opportunity to give your life to God.

Simply believing in God and in Jesus DOES NOT make you Christian.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.“—Romans 10:9

Paul tells us exactly how to become Christian. He says you need to believe that God raised Jesus from the dead, and you need to confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. If you have never done this then you have not Christian no matter how often you go to church and no matter how good a person you are. So, right now, if you’re reading this and wish to give your life to God and become a Christian, repeat this prayer below out-loud to yourself wherever you are,

“O Lord, God,

I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God.

I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead.

I believe that He’s alive today.

I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day.

Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I am born again.

Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul!

I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”

Now if you said that prayer for the very first time and gave you life to the Lord today, congratulations: you are now a new creation! You are born again! And you are child of God from this day. Please, please, please reach out to me directly using my contact form or on the numbers given below and I will respond to you immediately: I have amazing gifts lined up just for you and I wish to help you through your Christian walk. Feel free to read my article series on Who and What A Christian Really is to learn more about who you are as a Child of God, what it means to be a child of God, and what you have as a child of God.

Thank you so much for joining me on this amazing journey and I look forward to seeing you in my next article where we discuss the preparation of the gospel of peace and what that actually means.
